How It Works: Mode of Action
Hachiman uses a “Dual Action” technology that hits weeds in two different ways, ensuring they cannot survive:
- Stops Lipid Synthesis (Quizalofop): Rapidly absorbs into grassy weeds and stops them from producing essential fats (lipids). This halts growth within 48 hours and causes the “Dead Heart” symptom in grasses.
- Stops Protein Production (Imazethapyr): Blocks the production of vital amino acids in broadleaf weeds and sedges. This slowly starves the weed, turning leaves red or purple and killing the plant completely.
- Deep Root Kill: The chemical travels down to the roots and underground tubers (especially in Motha), destroying the weed from the bottom up to prevent regrowth.
Result: Weeds stop growing in 2 days and die completely within 14-21 days.
